You shouldn't pay before your site is complete. You shouldn't pay top dollar for a cookie cutter template. Sounds simple...but these are the biggest complaints I've heard from local business owners when they talk about their past experiences with web designers. It's what separates me from other designers. You pay when your site is complete. Complete means that the site is online and you're happy with the design, layout, content, etc. You might be asked to pay for domain name registration or hosting setup, but not a penny for me until your project is complete. No templates here. I don't have dozens of ready-made templates for you to pick from.
